Expats is a gripping drama about three women Margaret (Nicole Kidman), Mercy (Ji-young Yoo) and Hilary (Sarayu Blue) whose lives intersect, their personal and professional lives and their relationships with their maids. Set in Hong-Kong during 2014 Umbrella Revolution it is based on the book, The Expatriates by Janice Y. K. Lee.

Far from home, hope endures. Expats, the new limited series from director Lulu Wang arrives January 26 on Amazon Prime. Sudha Bhuchar plays Hilary’s mother, Brinder and is in episodes 4 and 6 due to be shown on 9 and 23 February.
