British South Asian Theatre in the UK is over a century old and yet there is no discernible archive and fractured knowledge of the narrative. Without cohesive documentation of work produced in the last century, these invisible histories
will be erased. We have joined forces with partners to champion the creation of a performance archive and make visible this canon so it can be elevated and revisited.
We have two upcoming special events that are FREE to the public. Join us in this timely celebration and become an ally and advocate.
On Wednesday 6th November, as part of A Season of Bangla Drama, Bhuchar Boulevard Associate Suman Bhuchar will be speaking on a panel which includes Rianna Simons, Black Plays Archive Coordinator, National Theatre and Professor Jerri Daboo, Professor of Performance, University of Exeter.
The event will be from 6pm to 7.30 at QMUL, ArtsOne, Bloc, Mile End Road, London E1 4PA Book below
